Exhibitions
In June 2007, Susan learned that a suite in the soon to be opened Barton Hill Hotel and Spa will be named in her honor.
On 8/10,11,12, Susan exhibited in the prestigious Sculpture in The Park Show in Loveland, CO...the largest sculpture event in the United States. Out of over 200 sculptors exhibiting, Susan's sales placed her in the Top 15 at the show.
Susan's sculpture " Morning Spirits ll" was on display thru September 30th as apart of the Pen and Brush Society " Top Award Winners Exhibition" in New York City.
Susan's sculpture was the featured decor at the Castellani Art Museum Gala on October 13th. Her sculpture "Tess" was also on display at the June Chamber of Commerce dinner.
October 2007, Susan's "Ode to Joy" was on exhibit at the National Arts Club, new York City, as part of The Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Arts Club's 111th Annual Exhibit.
Susan selected to be part of the Arizona Fine Art Expo, Scottsdale, AZ, in Jan-March'08. At the expo, participating artists occupy working studio spaces, creating work on site while iteracting with the public.
China Trip: In late October '07, Susan and 11 other artists departed upon a two-week tour of China, which included a 10-day exhibit of their work in the city of Shanghai.
In October '07, Susan's bronze "Ma, Can I Keep Him" was selected for th 'People's Choice?Purchase Award' in Gillette, WY 'Avenues of Art' exhibit.
October '07 her "Mayflower" & "Puddle Jumper" duo won 3rd Place People's Choice Cash Award in the Sioux Falls,SD 'Sculpture Walk' exhibit. Both bronzes were then purchased for a private collection.
10/26/07 Susan's bronze "Potato Man" was chosen for purchase by the Fountain Hills, AZ Civic Association.
In Nov.-Dec., Susan's work was once again represented at the National Arts Club, NYC as part of the 94th Annual Allied Artists of America Show. The sculpture exhibited was "Potato Man II".
12/05/07 The Sioux Falls, SD irish Club purchased a "Potato Man" for installation in a park dedicated to Irish heritage.
April '08 Columbus, GA Sculpture walk People's Choice cash award and purchase of "May Flower" bronze.
4/25/08 Evergreen, CO 'Art for the Mountain Community' purchase of Susan's "Morning Spirits" life-size bronze.
May '08 Town of Altona, Manitoba purchases "Puddle Jumper" for new Gallery in the Park Sculpture Garden.
5/26/08 Columbus, GA Sculpture Walk Additionalcash awards for second and third place Best of Show.
5/28/08 Norick Foundation commissions three life-size bronzes for Oklahoma City, OK Public Library.
July 2008 Historical Assn. of Lewiston NY, commissions "Freedom Crossing", a monument to the Underground Railroad incorporating five over -life-size bronzes, depicting URR activity in Lewiston.
Sept.2008 "Ma Can I Keep Him" gets 3rd Place People's Choice cash award from Sioux Falls, SD "Sculpture Walk". In March '09, a private collector purchased this piece for donation to the local hospital.
Oct 2008 "May Flower" wins People's Choice purchase award in Gillette, WY "Avenues of Art".
April '09 Charity Golf Tourney proceeds used to purchase "May Flower" for placement at the Sheridan WY Medical Center.
June 2009 Susan is asked to address the artist's symposium preceding the opening of Loveland's Sculpture in the Park, the largest sculpture event in the U.S.
July 2009 - Niagara County Community College Foundation names Susan recipient of the 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award.
